VW Golf Blue-e-Motion Snags First in RAC Future Car Challenge

The EV revolution continues. Volkswagen recently tested one of its pre-production vehicles, the Volkswagen Golf Blue-e-Motion against other electronic vehicles of its kind at the RAC Future Car Challenge in the UK. A 57- mile battle of lowest energy consumption, the challenge named VW's Golf Blue-e-Motion as the winner of its Prototype class.

Volkswagen Sales Up 40% in US

It's been a good year for East Coast Volkswagen located at 8756C Hwy 17 ByPass S Myrtle Beach, SC 29588, and for VW in general. The German auto maker said its October 2011 sales were up 40% over last year, with 28,028 vehicles sold. This is the company's best October sales since 2001, and best year-to-date increase as well, up 24%.
