One of the first things families notice when stepping into the 2026 Volkswagen Atlas is that it does not force a compromise between passenger space and interior quality. While many midsize SUVs offer a third row as an afterthought, the Atlas provides about 34 inches of legroom in the rear-most seats. This measurement is roughly 2 inches greater than the 31.4 inches found in the Kia Telluride, making the "way-back" seats a viable option for adults and teenagers rather than just small children.
