I called to report an odor of antifreeze coming into the compartment of the car. As well, we needed an oil change. The oil change was completed with no issues. However, I asked about the antifreeze concern. I was advised that this is normal for a 2023 VW Tiguan. I am really concerned as the explanation was just this. On my receipt there is no mention of the antifreeze concern. To me, this is a little sketchy. If I can see a report that shows that this issue is handled by VW as it was, then I will be ok with it. The service advisor took a gallon of antifreeze and topped off the overflow reserve. When I questioned him, he said that I can stop by at any time and the reserve will be topped off as needed. This it the first time that I have ever heard of this. I have owned many VW's. Please let me know if this is how this is really handled. Thank you. Tom Briggs
